Top 10 of our favorite restaurants across the U.S.

Traveling across the United States, we have compiled a list for all of you of our top 10 favorite restaurants stretching from New York to California. We’ve included small town favorites and well known, award winning city restaurants. Hopefully from this list, you may be able to find your new favorite place to eat!

Ipanema Grille: Wilkes-Barre, PA

One of our first romantic dates, Shane took me to this wonderful restaurant that is a man’s dream..endless meat, need I say more? You pay a flat fee, less than a typical Brazilian restaurant such as Fogo De Chao, and can have as much meat as you’d like as well as their delicious fried pineapple. Buy a pitcher of Sangria and eat your heart out.

The White Elephant: Carlisle, PA

We spent our first Valentine’s Day here, and it was one we will never forget. The White Elephant is a BYOB restaurant, and so we brought our favorite bottle of Elk Mountain wine, Pink Beaver. We finished it before dinner got to our table. The food was fantastic from what we remember.

Chartres House: New Orleans, LA

The perfect place to sit back and relax with a bottle of ice cold beer on a hot NOLA day. We sat near the bar with a table in front of their opened french doors making it the perfect place to people watch and enjoy the local music.

Bayou Burger: New Orleans, LA

NOLA is my favorite city in the United States, and it’s hard to choose just one restaurant to call our favorite. Bayou Burger offers rooftop views of Bourbon Street and has a wide variety of bar food and beer. You MUST try their alligator hush puppies, they are to die for!

The Mucky Duck: Captiva, FL

A true beach bar, The Mucky Duck is the perfect place to watch the sunset and take a stroll after dinner. Make sure to get there early to grab a seat as they don’t take reservations and fills up quickly! Although, you may always enjoy a cold beverage while you wait outside on the beach.

Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar & Grill: Minneapolis, MN

Featuring multiple levels, this Asian bar is a great new addition to Nicolette Mall in Minneapolis. Enjoy it’s fancy indoor restaurant, multiple bars, and patio seating, or eat on the rooftop and watch the sunset reflect off the skyscrapers.

Richie’s All American Diner: Palm Desert, CA

Craving mouth-watering smoked steak and a cold beer? Richie’s All American Diner is a small family owned chain that smokes all their meat on site. Their employees make you feel right at home and they offer prices you can’t beat for the quality. We are 2,600 miles away and we still can’t find anything better.

Sambuca: Nashville, TN

Our second Valentine’s Day date was almost as good as the first. Sambuca offers dinner packages for special occasions and this one just so happened to be dinner and dancing. A small band came in to play as we took our seats and we danced until our food was ready. It was a very romantic night in Nashville.

Ford’s Garage: Cape Coral, FL

As a Ford girl myself, I love the atmosphere and nostalgia of Ford’s Garage. As we pulled into the parking lot in my Mustang, we heard the “ding-ding” from the old gas station bell system. The entire restaurant is filled with features like this taking you back through the years of Ford history. Even their menu is filled with burger names such as my favorite, The T-Bird.

The Stoneyard Craft Beer Hall and Grill: Webster, NY

A beer empire, The Stoneyard has about three pages or more of craft beers from all over the United States. If you aren’t a beer person, like me, they have an extensive wine list as well. My favorite was their hard cider options! The ambiance of the restaurant is more bar than grill, but it is definitely a place we would love to go back to very soon.
